Welcome to the 49th District!
Congressional District boundaries are redrawn every ten years after the completion of the Census of the United States to adjust for statewide and regional population growth. As a result of the 2000 Census, the 49th District encompasses Camp Pendleton and Oceanside, stretches across North San Diego County and reaches into Southwest Riverside County including the towns of Temecula, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Sun City and Perris.
